Symes Motorsport was formed in 2002 by the Symes family and is based in Central Victoria. It was formed to help the driver, Jordan Symes reach his goal of driving in the Australian V8 Supercar Championship. It is headed by chief engineer Ken Symes who has over 15 years experience in the motorsport industry.

In 2007 Symes Motorsport entered a car in the Victorian HQ Holden Championship. This took Jordan and his crew to some of Victoria’s best circuits including Phillip Island, Winton and Sandown. In their first full year Symes Motorsport won the Victorian Championship in their division. The experience gained from racing in the HQ Holden Championship has prompted Symes Motorsport to take the next logical step in motorsport.
In early 2011 Symes Motorsport built a new V8 Commodore Cup Car to compete in the Australian V8 Commodore Cup Championship. This championship has proved a success for many well known drivers over the years and Jordan is hoping to following in their footsteps competing on well known Australian circuits such as Bathurst, Eastern Creek, Wakefield Park and Sandown.
